Plaza Andalucía - CASA UNO

Small Uno

CASA UNO offers the very-small-to-smallish person (and his/her concerned parents)

  • Safety-railed and gated swimming pool.
  • Entire pool visible from within the house, from the covered terrace, patio and all colonnades.
  • Travel cot.
  • Removable stair-gates on all stairways.
  • Grilles and pull-down shutters on all outward-facing windows.
  • All rooms securely lockable.

Within or around the village of Las Pinedas are to be found

  • A tiny school playground and football pitch.
  • La Granja – an educational farm to which pupils come from local schools to touch, feed, talk to and learn about farm animals – private visits can be arranged.
  • Various other small farms with muddy cows and cheerful pigs.
  • Former village communal wash-place - ideal for sailing toy boats.
  • An ancient ford beneath a former railway bridge on the camino rural for paddling, searching for tadpoles etc.
  • Two well-shaded local picnic parks.

Two big attractions in Cordoba

  • The Ciudad de Niños (‘Kid’s City’) near the zoo: a large and well-managed paradise for the below-teens to climb, slide, swing, jump, or simply race around in.

  • The Aquasierra water-park on the outskirts of Cordoba: slides, rides, flumes, outdoor and covered pools, and a gut-wrenching drop for the truly intrepid on the Kamikaze.
