Within or around the village of Las Pinedas are to be found

- Various other small farms with muddy cows and cheerful pigs.
- Former village communal wash-place - ideal for sailing toy boats.
- An ancient ford beneath a former railway bridge on the camino rural for paddling, searching for tadpoles etc.
- Two well-shaded local picnic parks.
Two big attractions in Cordoba
- The Ciudad de Niños (‘Kid’s City’) near the zoo: a large and well-managed paradise for the below-teens to climb, slide, swing, jump, or simply race around in.
- The Aquasierra water-park on the outskirts of Cordoba: slides, rides, flumes, outdoor and covered pools, and a gut-wrenching drop for the truly intrepid on the Kamikaze.
